The partnership program is hosted at the University of Luxembourg. Nine research entities team up to tackle the seven research challenges over the six years of program time (2021-2027). Of the nine entities, six belong to the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE), two to the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), and one to the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT).
Cisco is the worldwide technology leader in connecting people through video and voice. By joining the program, Cisco intends to strengthen its services and applications for collaboration technology and accelerate innovation in education through new technologies. As a highly diverse testing ground, Luxembourg allows them to validate concepts and technologies that bridge cultural and language gaps in collaborative work and learning activities.
The SCRIPT (Service de coordination de la recherche et de l’innovation pédagogiques et technologiques) is an entity of the Luxembourgish Ministry of Education, Childhood and Youth whose primary mission is the coordination of pedagogical and technological innovation initiatives in the Luxembourgish education system. For C21, SCRIPT provides access to Luxembourgish schools. They will facilitate the experimental implementation of solutions in real-world use cases and benefit from valuable insights to guide further decision-making. They are well-positioned to transfer research findings into educational institutions nationwide.
